Meet the Founder

Rich Baduini is founder and CEO of Top Shelf Logistics, LLC; a highly respected multi-modal, outsourced provider of transportation and process operated services throughout North America, to include managing committed truck capacity and highly customized supply chain solutions, principally within the Wine & Spirits trade.

Rich began his logistics career at Revlon Inc. in New Jersey while working his way through college, and upon graduation held progressive management positions at their various U.S. and Canadian D.C.’s. His career includes a history of leading effective teams and servicing customers while managing driver fleets, distribution centers and transportation networks. While serving in key leadership positions, he developed an integrated operational / sales approach, which produces practical value through collaborative customer / carrier relationships and process execution. Serving as Director of Operations at GTS Distribution and Transportation, he focused on a broad spectrum of CPG clientele, and was a key driver of their phenomenal growth, culminating in a sale to Pacer Inc. He was subsequently promoted to VP of Operations within Pacer’s Supply Chain Solutions group.

In 2007 Rich founded Top Shelf Logistics. After proof of concept, he aligned with privately held and top 20 industry leader CRST Inc. Since then as a strategic operating agent, Top Shelf has become a preferred category logistics provider to the Wine and Spirits industry. Rich and his highly talented transportation team provide reliable and sustained superior service – with best-in-class technology, to heritage and craft distillers, wineries, distributors, and industry vertical suppliers. Rich holds a B.S. from Wagner College, New York, NY and an M.B.A from the University of Phoenix, Phoenix, AZ. He is a member of CSCMP, associate member of American Distilling Institute and also the American Craft Spirits Association.
